Sarah Cambria, 97, formerly of Reading, passed away September 20, 2009 at 7:30 PM in ManorCare Health Services, Sinking Spring where she resided for 3 years. She was the wife of Frank Cambria who passed away November 5, 1996. Born in Dahlia, Italy on July 12, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Angela (Gianforcaro) Gatto.
Mrs. Cambria was employed as a seamstress by David Crystal for 11 years and as an examiner by Penn Optical for 5 years.
She was a member of Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Reading.
Surviving are 2 daughters Mary S. (Cambria) wife of James Sparagana of Cumru Twp. and Angela A. (Cambria) widow of Salvatore Levanti of Sinking Spring, 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and 2 sisters Angelina (Gatto) wife of Sam Genova of West Lawn and Carmella (Gatto) wife of Richard Pfleger of Montrose Manor.
