Sara Heere

Sara W. Heere, 98, formerly of Reading, passed away December 29, 2010 in ManorCare Health Services, Muhlenberg Township. She was born in Reading the daughter of the late Irvin L. and Mary V. (Fink) Williams. She was a University Resident Director at East Stroudsburg University for 10 years, retiring in 1976 and also at Ohio University, Athens, Ohio for 4 years. She was also a House Mother for Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. Mrs. Heere is survived by her sister Mabel "Pete" Hower of Fort Lauderdale, Florida along with 3 nephews and 8 nieces, one nephew which resided with her for 23 years, Robert Haley. She was also preceded in death by 4 brothers and 5 sisters.
