Devoted friend and beloved wife, mother, sister, niece, and aunt, Sandra L. (Meshach) Manwiller, age 56, passed peacefully surrounded by her family and friends on August 22, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer. She will be long remembered for her compassion, generosity, selflessness, smile, and infectious laugh.
Sandra was born on December 10, 1964 in Newton, New Jersey, the oldest child of the late Patricia and William Schweyer. She graduated from North Warren High School and continued her education at The Pennsylvania State University, receiving a B.S. in political science. This is also where she met her future husband.
Sandra is survived by her spouse of 31 years, Mark Manwiller of Exeter, her two children Zachary (age 26) and Sydney (age 24), her brothers Christopher of Modesto, CA and Kevin of Whitehall, PA, and her aunt Jackie of Norristown, PA.
Sandra was employed as a realtor at Keller Williams Realty Group in Collegeville, PA. She volunteered her time to many different organizations, including The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), where she served as the gala chair for four years raising tens of thousands of dollars to find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes. Her passion for JDRF stemmed from her son Zachary’s diagnosis at the age of four, at which point she made it her mission to help find a cure.
Sandra also volunteered her time to the Exeter Cheerleading Parent’s Club, where she served as president of the club for three years. During her tenure as president, she was lucky enough to see her daughter’s squad win a national championship in Orlando, Florida.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Sandra’s name can be made to JDRF at www.JDRF.org A celebration of life is planned for the beginning of October. Final details will be posted on Facebook.
