Sandra Smith

Sandra J. Smith, 72, of Shillington, passed away December 24, 2009 at 9:20 PM in Reading Hospital & Medical Center where she was a patient for one week. She was the wife of Donald C. Smith who passed away in 1977. Born in the Germantown section of Philadelphia on July 23, 1937, she was the daughter of the Grace H. March.

Mrs. Smith was a 1955 graduate of Governor Mifflin High School. She was employed in the accounts receivable department of Salino's in Reading for 26 years last working October of 2009. Sandra was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Shillington.

Surviving are a son Robert C. Smith at home, 2 daughters Debra S. (Smith) wife of Thomas A. Buss of Lehighton and Susan M. (Smith) Hakes of Greenfield, Ohio, 5 grandchildren Jennifer M. Dietrich, Donald C. Deisher, Guy L. Larrabee Jr., Robert C. Smith Jr. and Heather A. Hakes and 2 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a granddaughter Melissa J. Larrabee.
