Sally Sheidy

Sally Ann Sheidy, 87, of Cumru Township, passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Penn State Health St. Joseph. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles W. Sheidy, who passed away on March 12, 2004. They shared 48 years of marriage together.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Michael P. Sustello and Anna H. (Sivilla). Sally was a graduate of Mount Penn High School, Class of 1951. She was a devoted member of St. John Baptist De La Salle Roman Catholic Church in Shillington.

Sally enjoyed playing bingo and was involved as a Den Mother for Cub Scouts.

Sally is survived by her sons, Charles J. Sheidy, husband of Stefanie, of Houston, Texas; Joseph M. Sheidy, husband of Viki, of Winter Haven, Florida; Dion P. Sheidy, husband of Susan, of Brentwood, Tennessee; Michael P. Sheidy, husband of Kelli, of Pine Grove, Pennsylvania; Donald L. Sheidy, of Shillington, Pennsylvania; 15 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Marie East, wife of Roy, of Kentucky; and Brother Michael P. Sustello Jr., husband of Debbie, of Blandon.

Prayer Service will be held at Bean Funeral Homes 129 E. Lancaster Ave. Shillington, PA 19607 on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at 10:00am. Entombment will follow at Gethsemane Mausoleum. The family will receive family and friends on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at the funeral home.
