Ruth Seidel

Ruth E. Seidel, 96, of Reading, passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Phoebe Berks. She was the beloved wife of the late Russell J. Seidel. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Bert M. and Helen H. (Herber) Horn. Mrs. Seidel was a proud girl stout leader for troop #2 and a Sunday school teacher at St. Stephens United Church of Christ. She was also a member of the community seniors of Mohnton and a member of One United Church of Christ of Kenhorst. Mrs. Seidel is survived by her son Robert R. Seidel husband of Maxine of Shillington; and daughter, Janet M. wife of Gary Yerger of Bern Township; 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers John R. Horn; Kenneth F. Horn; Charles Horn;, sister, Ella Kardohely and 2 half brothers.
