Ruth Markowski

Ruth Alice Markowski , 77, of Cumru Twp., passed away November 27, 2009 at 6:15 PM in Reading Hospital & Medical Center where she was a patient since September 14th. She was the wife of Andrew E. Markowski. Born in Reading on January 6, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Howard W. and Alice (Reddig) Myers.

Mrs. Markowski was a 1949 graduate of Reading High School. She was employed for 7 years as a produce clerk at Weis Markets in Shillington.

Surviving in addition to her husband are 2 daughters Deborah L. (Markowski) wife of Jeffrey E. Yeager and Christine A. (Markowski) Forrer both of Muhlenberg Twp., a son David E. Markowski at home, 3 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
