Ruth Lutz

Ruth V. Lutz, 88, of Reading, passed away April 18, 2010 at 10:50 AM in Wyomissing Nursing & Rehab Center where she resided since March 5, 2010. Born in Reading on October 9, 1921, she was the daughter of the late William H. Sherman and the late Catharine G. (Firestone) Kalbach.

Ruth was employed as the store security manager at Boscov's West for 17 years retiring in 1993. She was a professional dancer at the Catherine Wolf and Harry Adams Dance Studios from 1936 until 1946. She was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Shillington.

Surviving are a step daughter Sandra L. Bukowski wife of Ronald Bukowski of Sinking Spring, a step grandson Jeffrey D. Bukowski, 2 step granddaughters Wendy S. Stahl and Jodi L. Bukowski, 3 step great grandchildren and cousins Sharon C. Santaspirt wife of Gary J. Santaspirt and Bobb J. Firestone.
