Ruth Ann Haas

Ruth Ann Haas, 84, formerly of Colony Park, passed away Monday, January 27, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Stone Ridge Poplar Run Retirement Community Skilled Nursing Unit. She is survived by the love of her life Richard Kirk Haas, Sr. and were married on September 22, 1962. Born in Pottstown, Mrs. Haas was the daughter of the late Carl Q. and Martha E. (Moser) Biery. She was a long time member of Wyomissing Church of the Brethren. Mrs. Haas was a 1958 graduate of Boyertown High School and a 1961 graduate of the Reading Hospital School of Nursing. She was a registered nurse at the Reading Hospital for 5 years and then as a registered nurse at Berks Heim for 27 years until her retirement. In addition to her husband Mrs. Haas is survived by her children Carol Ann McCullough wife of Joseph G. McCullough of Mount Penn; Richard Kirk Haas, Jr. husband of Tonya A. Haas of Dacula, Georgia; her grandchildren Bryan Kristopher Haas fiance of Laura Dinger; Brynn Nicole Beresniewicz wife of Aleksander Beresniewicz; Joseph Gregory McCullough II husband of Emmalee McCullough; Patrick Christian McCullough and her great grandchildren Brayden Isaac McCullough, Hannah Riley McCullough, Rowen Aleksander Beresniewicz.

Celebration of Life Service will be held at Wyomissing Church of the Brethren, 2200 State Hill Road, Wyomissing, PA 19610 on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at 11:00 am. Pastor Josh Tindall will officiate. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family at Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive relatives and friends and Wyomissing Church of the Brethren Saturday from 9:00 am to 10:45 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Wyomissing Church of the Brethren at the above address in memory of Mrs. Ruth Ann Haas.
