Russell Lemmer

Russell G. Lemmer, 90, formerly of Shillington, passed away September 17, 2010 at 6 pm in Country Meadows of Wyomissing where he resided for 5 years. He was the husband of the late Frances S.(Christ) Lemmer who passed away in 1971 and the late Ethel E.(Knauer)Deeds Lemmer who passed away in January of 2005. Born in Reading he was the son of the late George J. and Kathryn(Cullen) Lemmer. He was employed as a time keeper at Rockwell International for 22 1/2 years and then in production at Maier's Bakery for 7 years. Mr. Lemmer was a 1937 graduate of Reading High School and a member of Disabled American Veteran's Post 10. He served in the United States Army during WWII. He is survived by his daughters Suzanne M. wife of Patrick E. Doyle of Exeter Township and Linda A. wife of Robert J. Moser of Temple and his step daughter Mae Elaine wife of Paul Webber of Kenhorst along with 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sisters Dorothy Mohler and Adele Rapp.
