Russell L. Larish, 92, formerly of Exeter Township, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Berks Heim. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, Lorraine F. (Shaeffer) Larish. Born in Berks County, Mr. Larish was the son of the late Harry Larish, Sr. and Alverta (Hassler) Larish. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was employed by Bell Telephone of PA for 28 years as a utility maintenance man retiring in 1985 and Mr. Larish was a life member of Grill Fire Company, Goodwill Fire Company. He enjoyed bowling, trap shooting, polka dancing, hunting, fishing, attending antique car shows and most of all spending time with family. He was a loving father to his daughter Aileen L. Kline, wife of Michael D. Kline of Cumru Township and a loving grandfather to his granddaughters Danielle L. Yoder, wife of Dylan P. Yoder and Kelly C. Zweizig, wife of Raymond A. Zweizig and a loving great grandfather to his great grandchildren Juliet A. and Connor P. Yoder. Mr. Larish is also survived by his sister Dolores Stoyer of Reading and was preceded in death by Jane Slemmer, Harry Larish, Jr., Beverly Sittaro, Shirley Huyett, Gerald Larish and Wayne Larish.
Funeral Service will be held at Bean Funeral Home, 6 Fairlane Road, Exeter Township, Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 1:00 pm. Reverend Zach Labagh will officiate. Interment with Military Honors rendered by the United States Army Honor Guard will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Home Thursday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Foundation of America 322 Eighth Ave., 16th Floor, New York, NY 1000 in memory of Mr. Russell L. Larish.
