Rudolph J. Himmelberger

Rudolph J. Himmelberger, 88, of Cumru Township, passed away Friday, May 5, 2023 at 10:31 am at Penn State Health-St. Joseph Hospital.  He was the husband of Ingeburg A.E. (Pautsch) Himmelberger.  Born in Auburn, PA, Mr. Himmelberger was the son of the late Walter Himmelberger, Sr. and Margaret (Hand) Himmelberger.  He served in the United States Air Force in Korea, Japan, Thailand and Vietnam and was the owner/operator of at courier service in the Reading area.  In addition to his wife, Mr. Himmelberger is survived by his children Austin J. Himmelberger of Shillington; Audrey J. Siwik wife of Christopher M. Siwik of Sinking Spring; Donna Bajzik wife of Gary Bajzik of Florida; Karen Douglas of Florida and his 6 grandchildren.  He is also survived by his brothers Walter Himmelberger, Jr. of Sinking Spring and Robert Himmelberger husband of Patty Himmelberger of Reading.  He was preceded in death by his brother Donald Himmelberger.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Homes & Cremation Services 129 East Lancaster Ave. Shillington, Friday, May 12, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with Military Honors rendered by the United States Air Force Honor Guard at 7:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project PO Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516 in memory of Mr. Rudolph J.
