Royetta A. Cruz

Royetta A. Cruz, 69, of Sinking Spring, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 7:15 pm in her residence. She was the wife of Feliciano “Felix” Cruz. Born in.Reading, Mrs. Cruz was the daughter of the late Roy H. and Sue M. (Boyer) Schmeck. She was a member of New Life Church of Shillington. She worked as a patient access scheduler at Tower Health for many years, retiring in 2020. In addition to her husband, Royetta is survived by her sons Todd Cruz and Jared Cruz, both Reading, her step-daughters Loida Cruz of Houston, Texas; Elizabeth Cruz of Houston, Texas; Damaris Cruz of Houston, Texas, and her granddaughter Ava Cruz. Also surviving are her sisters Linda M. Gallagher, wife of Kevin T. Gallagher of Spring Township and Susan J. Newpher, wife of John Newpher of Phoenix, Arizona. Additionally, she was the best aunt to her nieces and nephews.

Royetta was truly a saint and anyone who knew her was blessed to have her in their life. She was a dedicated wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, and friend. She had a very strong faith and gave her life to Jesus. She enjoyed teaching Sunday school and helping those in need. She always had a kind word to say about everyone, and she made sacrifices for those she loved. She now walks with Jesus in eternal life.

Funeral Service will be held at Bean Funeral Home 129 East Lancaster Ave. Shillington, Friday, February 14, 2025 at 12:00 pm. Pastor Gail Norona will officiate. Interment will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Home Friday from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to New Life Church 315 West Broad Street, Shillington, PA 19607 in memory of Mrs. Royetta A. Cruz.
