Roy W. Hill Jr., 90, of King of Prussia and formerly of Reading, passed away March 28, 2010 at 5:30 PM in his residence. He was the husband of June E. (Springer) Hill. Born in Weisport, PA on May 3, 1919, he was the son of the late Roy W. Hill and the late Carrie M. (Hontz) Hill.
Mr. Hill was a 1937 graduate of Reading High School and a 1941 graduate of Wyomissing Polytech Institute. He served in the US Army during World War 2. Roy was employed as an audio technician by CBS affiliate WCAU Channel 10 in Philadelphia. He was a member of Valley Forge Presbyterian Church. Surviving in addition to his wife he is survived by a son Keith A. Hill husband of Mary Anne A. Hill of Sinking Spring, a daughter Joyce A. (Hill) Warne of Sumneytown, PA, a daughter Debra L. (Hill) wife of Steven M. Kirkwood of Schwenksville, PA, 5 grandchildren Rafer B. Warne, Damon C. Hill, Colin R. Hill, Joshua M. Kirkwood and Kyle S. Kirkwood, and 2 great grandchildren Jacob D. Hill and Liliana M. Hill. He was predeceased by a sister Mildred (Hill) Seibert.
