Rosemary Lencheski

Rosemary Lencheski, 78, formerly of Sinking Spring, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at 5:55 am at Atrium Health Hospice & Palliative Care, Union County, North Carolina. She was the wife of Casimer J. Lencheski, Charlotte North Carolina. Born in Taylor, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Lencheski was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Jane (Amantea) Salamone. She was a graduate of Old Forge High School Class of 1963 and the Community Medical Center School of Nursing, Scranton Pennsylvania. Rosemary retired in 2011 as a registered nurse at the former St. Joseph Medical Center, Reading Pennsylvania. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Lencheski is survived by her children Christopher J. Lencheski husband of Sharon Lencheski of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida; Cheryl Wilson-Smith of Dover, Pennsylvania; Lisa M. Hackman wife of Shawn Hackman of Pen Argyl, Pennsylvania; Robyn Callahan wife of Floyd James Callahan III of Charlotte, North Carolina; Lori R. Lencheski partner of Gregory Brown of Charlotte, North Carolina and her 8 grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers Daniel Salamone husband of Carol Salamone of Elizabeth, New Jersey and Theodore Salamone husband of Sandra Salamone of Raleigh, North Carolina and one nephew and two nieces.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church 2600 St. Alban’s Drive, Sinking Spring, Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at 11:00 am. Reverend Thomas P. Bortz, Celebrant. Interment will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at 1:00 pm. The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Home 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, Monday, October 28, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm and at Saint Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church Tuesday from 10:15 to 10:45 am.
