Rose Klein

Rose Marie Klein, 82, of Wyomissing Hills, passed away Monday, July 31, 2017 at 9:14 am in Phoebe Berks Health Care Center. She was the wife of the late Arnold R. Klein who passed away December 30, 2016. Born in Coaldale, Mrs. Klein was the daughter of the late William and Clara (Dunzilla) Urbanavage. She was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola RCC and was a graduate of St. Jerome High School in Tamaqua. Mrs. Klein is survived by her daughters Denise A. Mitchell, wife of James D. Mitchell of Stevens and Melissa R. Kalfoglou, wife of Creton S. Kalfoglou of Morris Plains, New Jersey and her grandchildren Kaitlan, Chelsea, Haley and Jameson Mitchell; Nathalie and Nicole Schmanske and Alexander Kalfoglou. She was preceded in death by her daughter Janeen Schmanske, wife of Brian Schmanske in 2004. Mrs. Klein is also survived by her brother Alexander Semanski of Pottsville and her sister Alverta Wasnesky of Levittown and was preceded in death by her 6 brothers and 2 sisters. Rose Marie was an avid gardener and competed in numerous flower shows as a member of the Wyomissing Hills Garden Club. She enjoyed spending time with her Birthday Group and above all, loved and cherished her grandchildren.
Funeral procession will depart Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, Friday, August 4, 2017 at 10:15 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Ignatius Loyola RCC 2810 St. Alban's Drive, Sinking Spring at 11:00 am. Reverend Guency Isaac, Celebrant. Interment will follow in Saints Peter & Paul Lithuanian Cemetery, Tamaqua at 1:30 pm. The family will receive relatives and friends in Bean Funeral Home Friday 9:00-10:15 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Berks County 1801 North 11th St., Reading, PA 19604 or Shriners Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, 3551 North Broad St. Philadelphia, PA 19140 in memory of Mrs. Rose Marie Klein.
