Rose Harter

Rose "Rosie"Harter, 87, of Wyomissing, returned to heaven in the loving arms of her family on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at 4:49 pm in Columbia Cottage. In 1928, God placed an angel in the arms of Dominick J. and Anna (Ferko) Bugay on this earth. His gift touched the lives of everyone she met. This angel met her husband Joseph P. Harter of 67 years, and have been in love ever since and their love will continue for eternity. Her love will continue to grow through her children Paul J. Harter, husband of Denise Harter of Reading; Joanne L. Creel, wife of Kevin C. Creel of Naples, Florida and Jeffrey J. Harter, husband of Faith A. Harter of Reading and continue to grow throughout time through her grandchildren Jason P. Harter; Jeremy M. Coleman; Jason R. Coleman; Candice M. McNish; Joshua J. Harter; Ashley N. Harter and Jessica L. Harter and her great grandchildren Michayla; Camden; Ewan; Isaac; Marin, Caleb and Serena. Mrs. Harter was a graduate of Birdsboro High School and was employed by Chubb Insurance Company in Reading and Palmyra as an office manager.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held in Bean Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, North 16th & Rockland Streets, Hampden Heights, Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 1:00 pm. Reverend Jason F. Stokes and Reverend Rodney C. Weaver, Jr. will officiate. Interment will be held privately by the family. The family will receive relatives and friends Saturday 11-1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Berks County, 1801 North 11th Street, Reading, PA19604 in memory of Mrs. Rose Harter.
