Rose Czarnecki

April 3, 1925 — March 26, 2018

Rose M. Czarnecki, 92, formerly of Sinking Spring, passed away Monday, March 26, 2018 in Phoebe Berks Health Care Center. She was the wife of the late Joseph Czarnecki who passed away May 13, 1994. Born in Reading, Mrs. Czarnecki was the daughter of the late Stefano and Mary A. (Albert) Levanti. She was a 1942 graduate of Reading High School and was a member of Saint Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church. She was employed by Sears in the Berkshire Mall as a head cashier for 29 years until her retirement. Mrs. Czarnecki is survived by her sister Mary L. Levanti, a resident at Country Meadows of Wyomissing and her nieces and nephews Mary Fry, Harry Levanti, Rosemarie Lewis, Elizabeth Gallimore, Frank Levanti, Mary Ellen McKnight and Steve Levanti. She was preceded in death by her brothers Sebastian Levanti and Salvatore D. Levanti and her nephew Steven Levanti, husband of Donna Levanti.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Chapel of Resurrection at Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum 3139 Kutztown Road, Laureldale, Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 10:00 am. Reverend Thomas P. Bortz, Celebrant. Entombment will follow. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Make A Wish Foundation 1054 New Holland Ave., Lancaster, PA 17601 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in memory of Mrs. Rose M. Czarnecki. Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring is in charge of arrangements and online condolences may be made at www.beanfuneralhomes.com
