Ronald Martin

Ronald E. Martin, 73, of West Lawn, passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Ann L. Martin (Gardner), of West Lawn. Ronald and Ann were high school sweethearts. Together they shared 53 years of marriage.
Born in Reading, on October 22, 1949, he was the son of the late John and Adelaide (DeWitt) Martin. Ronald was a 1967 graduate of Wilson High School, where he was first trumpet in the Wilson Band. He went on to graduating from Georgia Tech., with a Bachelor’s in Aerospace Engineering.

During his life, he worked as a Contractor Engineer throughout the United States. Working for companies such as Bell Helicopters, Boeing, and Lockheed Martin.

Ronald enjoyed music, cars, bicycling and airplanes.

In addition to his wife Ann L. Martin, of West Lawn, he is survived by his daughters, Erika L. Martin, wife of Chris Miller, of Michigan; Kelly L. Leas, wife of Eric Leas, of Lancaster; grandchildren, Jack Miller and Grace Miller; and sister, Margo Hill, wife of Randall, of West Lawn.
Ronald was predeceased by his brother Jay Martin.
