Ronald Linderman

January 28, 1932 — November 13, 2017

Ronald B. Linderman, 85, of Muhlenberg Township, passed away on Monday, November 13, 2017 in his residence. He was the beloved husband of Mary Ann (Klein) Linderman. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Lawrence J. Linderman and Florence (Felix) Linderman. Ronald served proudly in the United States Navy during the Korean War, aboard the Battleship Missouri. During his life he was employed as an Area Maintenance Manager for Penske Truck Leasing Inc. for 43 years retiring in 1999. In addition to his wife he is survived by his sons, Douglas B. Linderman of Wyomissing; Gregory L. Linderman, of Reading; R. Bruce Linderman, of Wyomissing; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Richard L. Linderman and sister, Thelma Kneeream. Ronald was predeceased by his siblings, Wallace Linderman; Willard Linderman; Hap Linderman; Helen Thiry; Irene Reitz; Ardelle Evans; Pearl Lash; Florence Reicker; and Betty Harvath.
Ronald will be most remembered for his kind heart, gentle soul, and a great sense of humor. He had an unwavering love and devotion to his wife Mary Ann, of 60+ years, and brought sheer joy to his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren as Santa Claus every Christmas holiday. Ron was a truly dedicated family man who instilled his strong family values and beliefs in his three sons and always showed compassion, understanding and unconditional love.
Funeral Service will be held in Bean Funeral Home, North 16th & Rockland Street, Hampden Heights, Monday, November 20, 2017 at 10:30am. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Home, Sunday November 19, 2017 from 6:00pm-8:00pm and Monday, November 20 from 9:30am-10:30am. A special thank you to the nurses, aides and hospice of Berks Visiting Nurse Association for their care. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, or Berks Visiting Nurses, in memory of Ronald B. Linderman. Online condolences may be made at www.beanfuneralhomes.com
