Rolland Mccloughan

Rolland R. "Mick" McCloughan, 87, of Penn Township, formerly of Reading, passed away November 20, 2010 at 3:40 pm in St. Joseph Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Dorothy M. (Light) McCloughan who passed away September 17, 1977. He was also preceded in death by the mother of his four children Virginia Graves who passed away in 1962. Also preceding him in death was his companion of 10 years, Leona Parnell who passed away in 1996. Born in Columbia, Lancaster County, he was the son of the late Rolland w. and Pearl E. (Fausnaught) McCloughan. He was a merchant seaman for Sun Oil company for 30 years retiring April 20, 1978. Mr. McCloughan is survived by his daughter Constance D. wife of George A. Powell of Myrtle Beach, SC and his sons, Alan B. husband of Kathleen A. Graves with whom he last resided, Richard L. and Timothy L. McCloughan both of Reading along with his grandchildren Tammy L., Tina M., Michael A., Steven M., Jennifer L., Melissa L., Brandi L., Marie L., and Ryan R. and 8 great grandchildren. Also surviving are his brothers Lee M. McCloughan of Exeter Township and Paul L. McCloughan of Hamburg and his sister Leona Frizzell of Reading. He was preceded in death by brothers Donald, Robert and Vincent.
