Roger Weand

Roger V. Weand, 74, of Reading, passed away October 21, 2010 at 3:00 pm in his residence. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Eileen (Aschmann) Weand. Born in Reading he was the son of the late Wayne L. and Mary E. (Hauser) Weand. Mr. Weand was a 1954 graduate of Reading High School. He was a sales representative for various menswear clothing lines last employed by Burberry's menswear in Reading. He served in the United States Army and served in The Old Guard, 1st Battle Group, 3rd Infantry. He was a member of Memorial Church of the Holy Cross United Methodist Church and Masonic Lodge 62 F&AM. In addition to his wife , he was a loving father to William R. husband of Russette E. Weand of New Ringgold, Jennifer L. wife of Anthony F. Stevens, Sr. of Wernersville and Amy E. Weand of Shillington. He was a loving grandfather to George W., Rachel E., Michael D., Kristian P. Weand and Anthony F., Jr. and Jacob W. Stevens.
