Roger Reed Warner, 86, of West Lawn, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 in his residence. He was the beloved husband of Carol (Wood) Warner. Born in Westfield, Massachusetts, the son of the late Edwin and Mary (Reed) Warner. Mr. Warner was a graduate of Dartmouth College in 1953. He served proudly in the United States Army Counter Intelligence Corps (CIC) and served in Korea for two years. During his life, he worked for several insurance companies, including Travelers, CNA, and Prudential, and retired as Assistant Vice President of Harleysville Life Insurance Company. During his career, he proudly obtained his CLU, ChFC, and LUTC designations. His favorite past-time was singing with his singing group "Never Too Late" Barbershop Quartet. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his three sons, Mark Warner, husband of Jackie, and 3 their three children, Jessica, Adam, and Abi of Wyomissing Hills; Craig Warner, husband of Linda, of Dillsburg, PA; and Drew Warner, husband of Vickie, and their son, Christopher, of Reading. In keeping with the family's wishes, the private interment will be at Pleasant View Cemetery.
