Roger Reed

Roger W. Reed, 55, of Reading, passed away on Friday, July 10th at 12:50 a.m. at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center, where he had been a patient for three weeks.

Born in Reading, he was the son of Grayce (Hottel) Reed of Laureldale, and the late Ralph W. Reed, who passed away April 26, 2007.

He was a 1972 graduate of Muhlenberg High School, and attended Pinebrook Junior College.

He worked in Central Supply at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center for 10 years, and volunteered as a Teacher's Aide at Lambs Christian Preschool for more than 10 years.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by brothers: Dr. Ronald W. Reed, husband of Filomena (Rodino) Reed of Mohnton, and Richard Reed, husband of Carol (Rebman) Reed of Bernville.

There are also six nieces and nephews.
