Rodney Bubbenmoyer

Rodney C. Bubbenmoyer, 86, of Bern Township, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, November 14, 2021. He was the beloved husband of Marjorie Mae (Katerman) Bubbenmoyer. Together they shared 67 years of marriage.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Franklin R. and Jeanette P. (Price) Bubbenmoyer. Rodney served proudly in the United States Army, during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed fishing, wood work, playing pool and motorcycle riding. Rodney was a lifetime member of the VFW.

In addition to his wife Marjorie, he is survived by his children, Beverly A. Kuhns, wife of Elmer M. Jr., of Bernville; David A. Bubbenmoyer, husband of Penny L., of West Lawn; Andrea B. Brossman, wife of Carl S., of Leesport; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Rodney was predeceased by his son Daniel A. Bubbenmoyer, grandson, Kasey D. Bubbenmoyer, and great-grandson, Louis Rivera.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Bean Funeral Homes, 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, PA 19608 on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at 12:15pm. Amy S. Landis, Certified Celebrant will officiate. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive relatives and friends from 11:15am-12:15pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Veteran Affairs in Lebanon or The Animal Rescue League of Berks County.
