Robert Rouse

Robert Rouse, 83, formerly of Shillington, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 11:45 am at Zerbe Sisters Nursing Home.  He was the husband of the late Carol J. (Dalton) Rouse who passed away January 3, 2021.  Born in Marion, South Carolina, Mr. Rouse was the son of the late Amos and Mary Grace (Shaw) Rouse.  He served in the United States Navy and was employed as an electronic technician at Gai Tronics in Shillington.  Mr. Rouse is survived by his children Deborah K. Nowotarski wife of Michael L. Nowotarski of Reading; Teresa L. Longacre of Shillington; Gregory A. Rouse of Charlotte, North Carolina; Brian C. Rouse husband of Becca Rouse of Charlotte, North Carolina and his 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.  He is also survived by his sister Cheryl Johnson of Franklin, Ohio and his brother Thomas Spence of Franklin, Ohio.

Graveside Service with Military Honors rendered by the United States Navy Honor Guard will be held at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
