Robert Ramsdell

Robert R. Ramsdell, 92, of Shillington passed away May 24, 2017 at the Reading Hospital.
He was the husband of Allene W. Ramsdell. Born in Salisbury, MA. He was the son of Russell and Aurora Ramsdell.
Robert was a retired U.S. Postal Inspector having served at Reading, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and Washington, DC. Hobbies included golf and model railroading.
Mr. Ramsdell served in the United States Navy during World War II as a Naval aviator.
He was a member of Holy Cross United Methodist Church serving on the Finance committee, Board of Trustees and Church Council. He was a 50+ year member of the Star in the East Lodge F&AM, Exeter, NH.
He is survived by a brother, Richard R. Ramsdell, Stratham, NH.
Other family survivors include a daughter: Allison L. Duff wife of Francis Duff, a son Gregory W. Ramsdell, grandchildren: Ryan Duff, husband of Crystal and Caitlin Duff. Also surviving are great-grandchildren: Savannah and Marissa Duff and Haley Quigley.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
