Robert Moyle, Sr

Robert K. Moyle, Sr., 87, of Rockland Township, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 2:25 am in Manor Care Health Services, Muhlenberg Township. He was the husband of the late Margaret L. (Rowan) Moyle who passed away February 6, 1996. Born in Mount Carmel, PA, Mr. Moyle was the son of the late Arthur and Hattie (Dillman) Moyle. He was a graduate of Mount Carmel High School and received a bachelors of science degree in engineering from Penn State University. Mr. Moyle serviced in the United States Navy for 23 years and was the Director of Physical Facilities at Kutztown University. He is survived by his children Barbara J. Ackerson of San Antonio, Texas; Debra K. McGhee of Mill Hall, PA; Christina M. Gibson of Tennessee; Heather E. Wood of Pottsville, PA; Richard L. Moyle of Bellefonte, PA; Robert K. Moyle, Jr. of Elysburg, PA; Thomas M. Moyle of Sellingsgrove, PA and Gregg S. Moyle of Fleetwood. He is also survived by his step children Ronald J. Girts of Tennessee; Kim R. Girts of Wisconsin; Richard L. Girts of North Carolina along with 27 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Also surviving is his brother Arthur Moyle of New Mexico and he was preceded in death by his sons Jeffrey H. Moyle and Ronald J. Moyle along with his brothers David Moyle and George "Buddy" Moyle.
