Robert Moser

Robert E. (Red) Moser, 82, formerly of Glenside, passed away August 9, 2009 at 1:50 pm in Country Meadows where he resided for the past five years. He was the husband of the late Shirley A. (Collins) Moser who passed away April 24, 2001. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late John E. and Esther A. (Weigley) Moser. Mr. Moser was a machinist for ConRail in Reading for 41 years, retiring in 1984. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Glenside. Mr. Moser had a great passion for the railroad and he and his wife traveled throughout the North America attending private car shows. He also was a caddy for many years at the Berkshire Country Club. Mr. Moser is survived by his twin brother and sister, Jerry D. Moser of Sebring, Florida and Jean M. Tucker of Pennellis Park, Florida. He is also survived by his nephew, Robert J. husband of Linda A. Moser of Temple and nieces, Pam Wright, Susan Tucker, Marie Moser along with a great niece Tiffany Moser and great nephew Christopher Moser.
