Robert Mckinney

Robert W. McKinney, 89, formerly of Shillington, passed away Monday, January 9, 2017 at 7:55 pm in Berks Heim. Born in Reading he was the son of the late William and Elizabeth H. (Freeman) McKinney. Mr. McKinney service in the United States Army Air Corp and was employed by Brentwood Industries for over 20 years in janitorial until his retirement. He is survived by his sister Elizabeth J. Schaich of Caernarvon Township and his brother William, husband of Gloria McKinney of Fleetwood along with his nieces Lisa Heck and Pamela McKinney and his nephews Jeffrey McKinney; Sean McKinney and Michael Krall. Mr. McKinney was a local artist and loved to cook. The family of Mr. McKinney would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the B-2 Nursing Staff at Berks Heim for the care they gave to Mr. McKinney.
Graveside Service will be held in Forest Hills Memorial Park 391 West Neversink Road, Exeter Township, Monday, January 16, 2017 at 2:30 pm. Reverend Paul L. Jones will officiate. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League PO Box 69, Mohnton, PA 19540 in memory of Mr. Robert W. McKinney.
