Robert Madenford

Robert H. Madenford, 85, of Muhlenberg Twp. formerly of Riverview Park, passed away September 19, 2009 at 4:45 AM in Reading Hospital & Medical Center where he was a patient since September 15th. He was the husband of Fern E. (Dautrich) Madenford. Born in Lower Heidelberg Twp. on September 2, 1924, he was the son of the late Miles P. and Esther (Hains) Madenford.

Mr. Madenford was a 1943 graduate of Muhlenberg High School and served in the US Navy during World War 2. He was a member of Alsace Lutheran Church.

Robert was employed for 42 years at UGI Corporation last working as a supervisor until retiring in 1989.

in addition to his wife are a daughter Gale F. (Madenford) LeClair of Muhlenberg Twp.; 3 grandchildren Andrew, John and Amanda and a great grandson Drew. He was predeceased by a son Gary R. Madenford on July 18, 1986.
