Robert Leidy

Robert W. Leidy, 49, of Leesport, passed away August 25, 2010 in his residence after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born in Philadelphia on January 18, 1961, he was the son of the late LeRoy Leidy. Bob will be sadly missed by his wife of 24 years, Bonnie C.(Horning)Leidy, and his children, a daughter, Allison C. Leidy a student at Penn State University, State College and a son, Nicholas R. Leidy at home. Surviving in addition to his wife and children are a sister Susanne B.(Leidy)wife of George L. Wacker III, his special aunts, Harriett Leidy and Doris M. Leidy and many other beloved nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Bob was a 1978 graduate of Hatboro-Horsham High School and a 1983 graduate of Temple University with a BS degree in Marketing. Bob was employed as a Project Manager at Air Products and Chemicals in Allentown for 17 years. He was a member of Epler's United Church of Christ, Leesport and was the secretary of the church consistory. Bob loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed coaching youth baseball and soccer.
