Robert Johnson, Jr

Robert Johnson, Jr., 86, of Bern Township, went to be with the Lord on November 16, 2009 at 1:30 pm. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Hazel M.(Stratton)Johnson. Born in Barbersville, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Robert and Dora B.(Brice)Johnson. Mr. Johnson was superintendent of Reading Metals a division of Reading Tube Corp. for 20 years, retiring in 1979. He served in the United States Marine Corp. during WWII and was a member of Spring Valley Church of God and served on church council. In addition to his wife he is survived by sons, Gary Richard, husband of LaRay E. Johnson of Ontelaunee Township and Stanley James Johnson of Bern Township and his daughter Renee Hazel(Johnson) wife of Ronald J. Cataldi of Bern Township along with 6 gradnchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother James Floyd husband of Ann Johnson of Indianapolis, IN.
