Robert C. Hinrichs

Robert C. Hinrichs, 80, of Wyomissing, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at 10:11 pm at Lancaster General Hospital.  He was the husband of Alison B. (Yeager) Hinrichs.   Born in West Reading, Mr. Hinrichs was the son of the late Albert and Fern (Noll) Hinrichs.  He was a member of Atonement Lutheran Church, Wyomissing, a graduate of Reading High School Class of ‘61 and Reading Business Institute, and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.  Mr. Hinrichs was a sales associate at Yeager Supply in Reading for 40 years retiring in 2018. He enjoyed vacationing in Delaware, his Thursday morning ROMEO breakfast group, Friday nights at GNA, and his furbabies Cosie, Jerry and Duds, but most of all his family. In addition to his wife, Mr. Hinrichs is survived by his children Cynthia L. Moran wife of Joseph P. Moran of Valrico, Florida; James R. Hinrichs husband of Malorie E. Hinrichs of Temple; grandchildren Elizabeth J. and Belinda N. Moran, and several nephews and a niece.  Mr. Hinrichs was preceded in death by his sister Lynne (Hinrichs) Jones and his first wife Virginia A. Hinrichs. 

Funeral Service will be held at Bean Funeral Home 129 East Lancaster Ave. Shillington, Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at 5:00 pm.   Reverend Katie Lyon will officiate.   Interment with military honors will be held at the convenience of the family at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.   The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Home Wednesday from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The American Legion (www.legion.org/donate), The American Heart Association (www.heart.org) or the Delaware Valley Golden Retriever Rescue (www.dvgrr.org).  Online condolences may be made at www.beanfuneralhomes.com.
