Robert L. Gilbert, 72, of Wyomissing, passed away on August 13, 2015 in Reading Hospital. He and his wife, Margery L. (Weissman) Gilbert were married for 53 years. Bobby was employed at the former Western Electric as an associate engineer for 37 years, retiring in 2002.
He was the son of the late Dorothy (Reilly) Gilbert, of Montoursville, Pa. Also surviving are Bart and Sharon Gilbert and their daughter, Stephanie, of Howell, NJ; and Todd and Elaine Gilbert and their daughter, Natasha, of Sinking Spring; as well as two sisters and four brothers.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Reformed Congregation Oheb Sholom or your favorite charity in Bobby's memory.
Robert was a member of Reformed Congregation Oheb Sholom, 555 Warwick Drive, Wyomissing, PA, 19610, where services will be held on Tuesday, August 18th at 1:00 P.M. Rabbi Brian I. Michelson will officiate.
