Robert Freeman

Robert C. Freeman, 90, of Shillington, passed away on Saturday, February 24th, 2018 at Berks Heim surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth J. Freeman and father who passed away on August 8th, 2015. Born in Mohnton, he was the son of the late Irvin Freeman and Lena (German) Freeman. Robert is survived by his children, Barbara J. Day of York Springs, PA; Richard R. Freeman, husband of Susan E. Freeman of Granger, IN; Deborah L. Esser, wife of Michael L. Esser of Mohnton, Susan A. Eppihimer, wife of Robert Eppihimer of Sinking Spring. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 12 great - grandchildren, and 1 great - great grandchild and his sister Margaret D. Freeman of Ephrata. He enjoyed his family and friends, country music, and spectating car racing. He was a carpenter, building custom built homes most of his career for his brother-in law, Allen Fake. He was a lifetime member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Gouglersville. Funeral service will be held at Bean Funeral Home, 129 E. Lancaster Shillington, PA 19607 on Thursday March 1, 2018 at 11am. Rev. Debora K. Gifford will be officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00am-11:00am at the funeral home.
