Robert Field Sr

Robert William Field Sr., "Bob", 83, of Reading, PA, passed away peacefully in his residence on Friday, April 13, 2018. Born in Bath, New York he was the son of the late Perry and Thelma (DeGroff) Field. Bob was currently living in Reading, PA for the last 15 years. He retired from the US Navy as a Chief Boatswains Mate in 1972 and was employed by the American Legion as the New Jersey State Adjutant until relocating to Geneva, NY in 1986. Bob was a past Master Mason of Owensboro, KY Lodge and a Past Patron of the Order of Eastern Star for both Floyd J. Bauersfield Chapter #286, Willingboro, NJ and Covenant Chapter #108, Palmyra, NJ. He was past advisor for Delaware Valley Assembly #65 International Order of the Rainbow for Girls and Delaware Valley Chapter Order of DeMolay.
He is survived by his wife Joanne and her beloved children, Cheryl (Jose) Pereira, Michelle (Michael) Smaltz, Richard (Sara) Baskin and Bob's beloved children, Tracey Field Jamerson, and Robert (Marcella) Field, Jr. Dear Pop-Pop of Briana, Elina, Alex, Richard, Drew, Eli, and loving grandfather of Steven and Michael. He is also survived by his sister Muriel Brayton; Linda (Pat) Cook and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother Roger Field, husband of Emma and Richard Field, husband of Arlene.
