Robert E. Sr

Robert E. Sroka, 72, of Lower Heidelberg Township, passed away Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 1:10 pm in Reading Hospital. Born in Reading he was the son of the late Stanley and Evelyn (Dreher) Sroka. Mr. Sroka was a graduate of Schuylkill Valley High School and served in the United States Army. He was a retired pool salesman and was a life member of Civil Air Patrol and was a volunteer at World War II weekend. Mr. Sroka is survived by his daughter Janelle A. Bosold, wife of Michael Bosold of Wyomissing and his grandchild Rowan M. Bosold. He is also survived by his loving companion Joan Plank of Mohnton and his siblings Marniece Lepore of Flying Hills; Starlynn Berkenstock, wife of Russell Berkenstock of Ephrata; Terry Sroka, husband of Lisa Sroka of Reading and Kimberly Trois, wife of Joseph Trois of Leesport along with several nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service will be held in Bean Funeral Homes & Crematory, 3825 Penn Ave.Sinking Spring Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at 7:00 pm. Reverend Jonathan F. Peters will officiate. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in Berks County Memorial Gardens. The family will receive relatives and friends in Bean Funeral Homes & Crematory Tuesday 6:00-7:00 pm.
