Robert E. Dudley, Sr., 84, of Lower Heidelberg Township, passed away February 21, 2011 at 10:00 am in Phoebe Berks Health Care Center. He was the husband of June W. (Snook) Dudley. Born in Newark, New Jersey he was the son of the late Carlton and Ella (Manchester) Dudley. He was a 1944 graduate of Milburn, NJ High School, 1950 graduate of Yale University with a BS in Electrical Engineering and a 1955 graduate of Stevens Institute in Hoboken, NJ, with a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering. He was employed by New Jesey Power and Light which later became Jersey Central Power and Light and retired from GPU in Reading serving at each company as an electrical engineer. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Washington, NJ, board member of former George Washington Council(Boy Scouts) and board member of Hawk Mountain Council(Boy Scouts) In addition to his wife Mr. Dudley is survived by his daughter Pamela L. wife of Barry L. Kissling of Rehrersburg and his son Robert E. Dudley, Jr. of Birdsboro along with grandchildren Bryan J. and Kristin A. and 2 nephews and 1 niece.
