Rita Korbecki

Rita Korbecki, 94, formerly of Shillington, passed away Friday, May 25, 2018 at 12:41 pm in Mifflin Court. She was the wife of Raymond V. Korbecki. Born in Trinidad, West Indies, she was the daughter of the late Spiridon and Nishme(Abraham) Anthony. Mrs. Korbecki was a member of Saint John Baptist de la Salle Roman Catholic Church where she was a member of the Prime Timers Senior Citizens Group and was involved in the Prayer Line. She also was in charge of the Rosary Group for 38 years at Mifflin Center. In addition to her husband Raymond, Mrs. Korbecki is survived by her sister Emelda Porritt of Kirkland, Canada and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Wahibe Anthony and her sisters Susanne Gonzalez and Marie Chami along with 2 step brothers and 2 step sisters. Mr. Korbecki would like to extend his sincere gratitude to the Staff at Mifflin Court and Compassus Hospice for their love and compassion.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint John Baptist de la Salle Roman Catholic Church Kerrick & Mitti Roads, Shillington, Friday, June 1, 2018 at 10:00 am. Reverend Richard H. Clement, Celebrant. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends in Saint John Baptist de la Salle Roman Catholic Church Friday from 9:00-9:45 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Mary's Shelter, 615 Kenhorst Blvd. Shillington, PA 19607 in memory of Mrs. Rita Korbecki.
