Richard Schmale

Richard L. Schmale, 58, of Exeter Twp., passed away on December 18, 2016 at Spruce Manor.
Born in Pottstown, he was the son of the late Walter D. and Ruth C. (Reigel) Schmale.
Richard was last employed as a truck driver for Beacon Container. Prior to that, he was employed at Doehler Jarvis working in the shipping office and F.M. Brown's in Birdsboro. He enjoyed golfing, bicycle riding, and spending time at the beach. Richard will be remembered for his beautiful blue eyes and a smile that lit up a room.
He was predeceased by his half-brothers: John A. Knauer, Lester Schmale, Sr., and Levi Schmale, Sr.
He is survived by his wife: Deborah A. Schmale, Children: Henry J. Schmale and Aimee G. Schmale; mother-in-law: Barbara Collins; Brothers: Ronald E. Schmale of Stowe, Raymond C. Schmale of Pottstown, Harold R. Schmale of Virginia, and Thomas Schmale of Exeter Twp.; Sisters: Susan Prizer of Douglassville and Linda L. Wilde of Schwenksville; half-sister: Ruth Sapp of Florida.
A Memorial Celebration of Life Open House will be held at Esposito's Restaurant, 1540 Friendensburg Rd., Reading, PA 19606 on Tuesday, December 27th 2016 from 3-7:00PM. All are welcome to attend.
