Richard Mclaughlin

Richard J. McLaughlin, 52, of West Lawn, passed away June 24, 2011 in his residence. He was the common law husband of Paula J. Stauffer. Born in Reading on January 13, 1959, he was the son of Margaret M. "Peg" (O'Toole) McLaughlin and the late Robert F. McLaughlin.

Richard was a graduate of Wilson High School. He was employed as a carpenter by the Governor Mifflin School District and served in the US Army during peacetime.

Surviving in addition to his mother and common law wife are a brother R. James McLaughlin husband of Barbara Jo (Pleam) McLaughlin of Spring Twp.; a sister Kathleen M. (McLaughlin) Evans of Lewisburg, PA; a step daughter Krista L. Good wife of Dale Good of Bowmansville; 3 nephews Michael J. McLaughlin, Matthew T. McLaughlin and Daniel L. Kuruna and a great nephew Laszlo Jentes.
