Richard Heller

Richard J. "Rick" Heller, 60, of Reading, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2015 in his home. He was the husband of Patti (Barr) Heller. Born in Reading he was the son of George A. "Pepper" Heller and Josephine A. (Maurer) Heller. Rick was a 1973 graduate of Reading Central Catholic High School and attended Kutztown University. He was involved in Golf Course Maintenance last employed by the Reading Country Club. He enjoyed working outdoors, watching his beloved Cleveland Browns, Philadelphia Flyers and San Francisco Giants. Rick loved sharing his family his photographs of sunsets. Rick was a loving father to Danielle M. Cole, wife of Matthew Cole of Reading; Derrick A. Heller of Reading; Desiree A. Heller of West Chester; Tabitha J. Yoder of Fleetwood; Heather K. Yoder of Temple and Jeremy L. Yoder of Fleetwood. He was a loving grandfather to Charlie L. Beaston; Paige M. Beaston; Aubrey R. Beaston and Autumn N. Yoder. Rick is also survived by his siblings G. Michael Heller, husband of JoAnn Heller of Reading; Suzanne M. Drazba, wife of Robert Drazba of Brownstown and James R. Heller, husband of Inger D. Heller of Downingtown along with his niece Eliza L. Heller.
Celebration of Rick's Life will be held in Bean Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, North 16th & Rockland Streets, Hampden Heights, Monday, October 19, 2015 at 6:00 pm. Kathy L. Lentz, Certified Celebrant will officiate. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. The family will receive relatives and friends Monday 4-6:00 pm.
