Rex Levengood

Rex V. Levengood, 70, of Kenhorst, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2016 at 12:30 pm in Reading Hospital. He is survived by his loving wife Deena T. (Sweigert) Levengood. Born in Pottstown, he was the son of Vernon Levengood, husband of Shirley Levengood of Wyomissing and the late Geraldine (Wade) Levengood. Mr. Levengood was a graduate of Wilson High School and served in the United States Marine Corp. He was a plumber at Hamburg State Hospital and a psychiatric aide at Wernersville State Hospital. Mr. Levengood was a generous, kind and giving man who was always willing to help others. He was a loving father to Rex A. Levengood, husband of Tamme S. Levengood of Sinking Spring and Renee M. Ferraro, wife of Philip D. Ferraro of Mohnton along with his loving granddaughter Trista N. Wood, wife of Mitchell Wood and loving step grandson Jason T. Collom. He is also survived by his sister Karen Lantz of Phoenixville and brother Dean Levengood of Colorado and was preceded in death by his brother Jay Levengood.
Memorial Service will be held in Bean Funeral Homes & Crematory, 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, Monday, March 14, 2016 at 6:00 pm. Reverend Lesley J. Hand will officiate.
