Reverend Marie Mathieu

Reverend Marie Suzette Mathieu, 72, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at Complete Care at Berkshire. She was the wife of the late Jean Claude Francois, who passed away on June 16, 2006. Born on March 31, 1950, in Port-de-Paix, Haiti, she was the daughter of the late Luders and Philomene (Jean) Mathieu. During her life, she worked as a Nurse for many years in the health and home care industry. She became a Minister in 1988 and was a member of Cortelyou Road Church of God in Brooklyn, New York and is currently a member of Spring City Church of God. Reverend Marie Suzette enjoyed cooking delicious meals, missionary work, and interceding for others in prayer.

She is survived by her daughter Reverend Magdalheen Emmanuella Brown, wife of Reverend Solomon Omar Brown, of Exeter Township; grandchildren, Jhade Soleil Philomene Brown, Solomon Preston Brown, and Leighla Marie Brown.

Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Eglise Baptiste Nouvelle Naissance, 440 E 1st St, Birdsboro, PA 19508 at 9:00am. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive relatives and friends from 8:00am-9:00am.
