Reverend Mccarty

Reverend Thomas A. McCarty, 68, of Mount Penn, was called home by the Lord on Thursday, December 24, 2015 while at Penn State Health-St. Joseph. He was born in Confluence, PA to Harold and Margaret (skinner) McCarty who have both preceded him in death as well as 2 brothers Jack and Richard. He is survived by his wife Salli A. (Soetaert) McCarty and his children Lori Thomas, wife of Ken Thomas; Jeffrey McCarty, husband of Laurie McCarty; Gregory McCarty, husband of Nicky McCarty and Bradley McCarty, husband of Tina McCarty along with his 9 grandsons and 13 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Sheldon, Randy and Linda. Tom had 2 cats, Mr. Rowdy preceded him one month prior and Miss Sunny is mourning his loss.
Tom lived a dedicated life to his family and his faith in God. The family would like to thank the staff at Penn State Health-St. Joseph for all their loving care, support and friendship to Tom and his Family.
A viewing was held on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at 3:00 pm in Bean Funeral Homes & Crematory, 6 Fairlane Road, Exeter Township. It was attended by family and close friends. Also in attendance were his many doctors and nurses. Online condolences may be made at www.beanfuneralhomes.com
