Rebecca Morton

Rebecca A. “Becky” Morton, 86, of Cumru Township, passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at 2:30 pm in Penn State Health-St. Joseph Hospital.  She was the wife of the late David C. Morton who passed away June 29, 2020.  Born in Johnstown, PA, Mrs. Morton was the daughter of the late Franklin and Mary (Gnagy) Schmutz.  She was a member of Atonement Lutheran Church in Wyomissing and was a LPN for Dr. Jonathan Tenzer, oral surgeon in Bethlehem.  Mrs. Morton is survived by her sons Craig F. Wood, husband of Lisa Wood of Whitehall and David T. Wood, husband of Nancy Wood of Collegeville and her step-children Gretchen Morton of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina; Gary Morton, husband of Gail Morton of Stevensville, Michigan; Gregory Morton, husband of Jaimie Morton of Woodridge, Illinois and her 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.  Mrs. Morton was preceded in death by her son James D. Wood.

Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Atonement Lutheran Church 5 Wyomissing Blvd., Wyomissing, PA 19610 in memory of Mrs. Rebecca A.
