Reba E. Thompson, 92, of Shillington, passed away peacefully at her home on November 25, 2020. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Clyde E. and Lura I. (Barr) Thompson. Reba was the wife of the late Richard H. Thompson, together they shared 63 years of marriage before his passing on April 25, 2010. She was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church. Reba was a telephone pioneer and worked as a Supervisor for Bell Telephone for 34 years before retiring in May of 1987. She loved going to the casinos and spending time with her family.
Reba is survived by her children; Scott R. Thompson, of Douglassville and Patricia A. Thompson, of Shillington, her grandchildren; James Brown, Michael Brown, Brett Thompson, and Scott Thompson, her great grandchildren; Jayda, Brody, Alexa, and Hunter. Also, her sister, Evelyn Smith, of Cumru Township, her niece, Gail Smith-Rader, and Zoey, her beloved dog. She is preceded in death by her grandson, Bryan Thompson, and a sister.
