Raymond Sweigart

Raymond E. Sweigart, 82, of Spring Township, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at 11:19 pm in his residence. He was the husband of the late Anna V. (Giese) Sweigart who passed away May 10, 2010. Born in Vinemont, Mr. Sweigart was the son of the late Raymond E. Sweigart, Sr. and Minnie (Grumbling) Sweigart. He was of the Lutheran Faith and served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam and Korean Wars. Mr. Sweigart worked with computers for Raytheon Electronics in Maryland. He is survived by his children Peter H. Sweigart, loving companion of Roxanne Wise of Reading; Beverly A. Reeve, wife of J.R. Reeve of Weston, Missouri and Donna M. Miller, wife of Scott D. Miller of Sinking Spring and his grandchildren Caitlin; Bryan; Jennifer; Kia; Dylan and great grandchildren Brandon and William. Mr. Sweigart is also survived by his brother Warren Sweigart, husband of Patricia Sweigart of Blandon and sister Patricia Mosteller of Womelsdorf and his caregiver Aminata Amyme Kamara.
Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held in Bean Funeral Homes & Crematory, 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 2:00 pm. Amy S. Landis, Certified Celebrant will officiate. Military Honors will be rendered by the United States Navy Honor Guard following the service. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. The family will receive relatives and friends in Bean Funeral Homes & Crematory Thursday 1:00-2:00 pm.
