Raymond Harp

Raymond H. Harp, 95, of North Heidelberg Township, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2016 at 7:30 am in Reading Hospital. He was the husband of the late Mary Jane (Stetler) Harp who passed away in 2004. Born in Pottstown, he was the son of the late Raymond and Ruth (Swavley) Harp. Mr. Harp was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Wernersville and served in the United States Army during World War II. He was a type setter at Boyertown Publishing Company for 17 A½ years and Risson Press in Pottstown for 29 years retiring in 1982. He is survived by his daughters Beth Ann Harfmann of Harrisburg and Kathleen M. Bashore, wife of Robert A. Bashore with whom he last resided. Mr. Harp is also survived by his grandchildren Izannah Bashore and Erik Harfmann, fiancAC. of Sioux Sipe.
Graveside Service will be held privately by the family in Charles Evans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church 130 South Walnut Street, Wernersville, PA 19565 in memory of Mr. Raymond H. Harp.
